Newton owner and my new personal hero, Marcus Hammerschmitt, hooked up a Nokia Card Phone to his Newton 2100, tossed in a SIM card and was making calls like there's no tomorrow.
All the parts to transform his Newton from PDA to phone, set him back about $48. A Newton will set you back about $150 on eBay. A German iPhone will cost about $565. So Marcus saved approximately $367!
The best part, he doesn't have to worry about the dreaded Apple update. Shine on you crazy diamond.

The newton rocks. I'll be looking into this as i have a mint condition same model Newton and would rather use it than the new Iphone anyways. Sometimes you cant Beat old-school.

... please keep in mind the Nokia Card Phone 2.0 is a phone designed to comply with European dual band standards (GSM 900 and 1800) and will, to my knowledge, not work in the Americas.
Best,
Marcus
